About Aletheia
Aletheia Graduate Christian Fellowship, formerly known as Chinese
Christian Fellowship at Stanford (CCFS), begain at Stanford in 1973 as a
family of students gathered in the name of Jesus Christ.
Coming from various backgrounds, both American and
International, Students and Young Professionals, we share a common
goal: to know God and to reach out and care for those around us.
We meet
together on Friday evenings for worship, Bible study, sharing, and
prayer. Although our ministry is aimed specifically toward graduate
students, we welcome everyone; both graduate and undergraduates,
both non-Christians and
Christians, and people not associated with Stanford and Stanford community
are all welcome.
Aletheia is the Greek word for
"truth," and we belive that the truth about God and his relationship with
us is given to us in the Bible. Thus, we at Aletheia
have always placed significant weight on studying the Bible.
We strive to help each other understand God and
his ways in our lives through the study of his Word and
encouraging each other through sharing and fellowship. We also hope to
share this truth that we found with the Stanford community.
We invite you to join us for this year's program.
